PIFA Partners’ Approach to Use AI in Translation and Editing

At PIFA Partners, confidentiality, accuracy, and professional judgment are at the core of our services.

We recognize the growing role of artificial intelligence in language-related workflows and have established a clear policy governing its use.

 

1. Purpose of AI Use

PIFA Partners may utilize AI-based tools and other IT solutions solely as internal support tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services, including:

• Linguistic refinement and stylistic consistency checks

• Terminology validation and alternative phrasing review

• Structural clarity and readability assessment

• Fact checks

AI tools are used to support human professionals, not to replace them.

 

2. Human Responsibility and Oversight

All deliverables provided by PIFA Partners are:

• Reviewed and finalized by experienced human translators and reviewers

• Produced under the full responsibility of PIFA Partners

AI tools do not act as autonomous decision-makers, and no content is delivered to clients without human judgment, verification, and approval.

 

3. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We take strict measures to ensure that confidentiality obligations are fully respected:

• AI tools are used only within the scope permitted by client agreements

• Reasonable information security safeguards are applied when selecting and using IT tools

• Where appropriate, information is anonymized, abstracted, or minimized—especially for personal data or highly sensitive content

The use of AI tools does not constitute disclosure of confidential information to third parties.

 

4. No Subcontracting or External Delegation

The use of AI or other IT tools by PIFA Partners:

• Does not constitute subcontracting, outsourcing, or delegation of services

• Does not transfer responsibility or control to any third party

PIFA Partners remains the sole service provider and accountable party.

We believe trust is built on clarity. Upon request, we are happy to explain how AI-assisted tools are used within our controlled workflow, and how confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability are maintained
